Join us for a hands-on glaze workshop where you’ll discover how to add color, texture, and personality to your bisque-fired ceramic pieces. What You’ll Learn: • Glaze Fundamentals: Understand what glaze is and how it works during firing. • Application Techniques: Learn methods like dipping, pouring, brushing, and layering. • Design & Experimentation: Explore color combinations, surface effects, and how to bring out the textures of your piece. What’s Included: • 1.5-hour glaze-focused workshop • All glazes, tools, and protective gear provided • Firing of your glazed piece included • Final result is food-safe and ready to use or display Workshop Details: In this 1.5-hour session, you’ll work with bisque-fired pottery (your own or provided by the studio) and explore glaze chemistry and artistic finishing. This class is ideal as a follow-up to our wheel throwing or hand-building workshops. Glazing is also included in Class 3 of our full pottery course.
